Transportation & Travel Directions from Durango

If you're Driving...

Downtown Durango is located in southwest Colorado, at the intersection of US 550 & US 160... From this intersection, take US 550 north towards Silverton. Angelhaus Condominiums are located at Durango Mountain Resort approximately 25 miles north of downtown Durango. You can't miss the entrance -- there's a huge wood and stone "Durango Mountain Resort" sign... turn left under the huge sign and drive up a winding road 1/2 mile until you see a large red wooden sign. Take a left immediately in front of the sign in the direction of "Sheol Street". Drive past the skier drop-off area (on your right) and cross over the small bridge that goes over the ski run below. A bit further, you will see Angelhaus on your right. Continue to follow the road, as it will loop around in front of Angelhaus. Park in any available spot.

If you're Flying...

Durango does have a local airport that is serviced by United Airlines, US Airways, Delta Air Lines and Frontier Airlines. The airport is located southeast of downtown Durango, approximately 6 miles from the downtown area.

There are several car rental agencies at the airport including Budget, Dollar, Enterprise, National and Hertz.

The Albuquerque airport is only 240 miles from Angelhaus. Some guests find it more economical to fly to Albuquerque. You can check this out at www.cabq.gov

There is no regularly scheduled shuttle service from downtown Durango or the airport. It is imperative that you make your ground transportation arrangement in advance of your arrival. Here are a few suggestions:
